I have such an abundance of mint! I make tea, sachets, mojitos, all sorts of things with it. I also like to pull the excess and put them in glass bottles for decoration. They look so pretty against the windows.

Pick it! OMG we have so much mint in the garden, it’s ridiculous. I picked a bunch and packed up for my tea. There are a lot of things you can do with mint, but step one is to pick it. It will grow back in abundance so no worries! LOL

Was pulling up the creeper in the garden when I realized I was also pulling up mint! So far the garden mint has remained contained in it’s allotted spot but I am sure it will pop up everywhere. It always does :)

Garden Mint Spreading Out May 2009

Went to the garden to weed and get some seedlings in the ground, and saw the mint was spreading out and growing really well. Finally! Everyone is always like oh no, you don’t mint in your garden; it will take over and you will have too much of it. Well, we love mint tea. It really can’t grow fast/far enough for us :)
