How to Make Mint Tea

Growing Mint familyearthprint.com

I grow mint in the garden, and have so much of it. If you know anything at all about mint, you know it grows like a weed. People often ask me, what do you do with all that mint? One thing I do is use it for tea. My older son and I have several cups of it every day. There is nothing quite like picking mint early in the morning then making fresh tea. This is how I make it:

1. Pick leaves
2. Rinse leaves with water
3. Place desired amount of leaves in cup. I use 3-5 leaves per cup depending on the leaf size. You learn how to suit it to your taste depending on trial and error
4. Pour boiling water in cup
5. Add sugar or honey
6. Enjoy!
