How my kitchen window looks this month. I love green growing things in my house. Some of them are bean plants I uprooted accidentally while weeding the garden, some are wild flowers I picked as buds that will blossom, and some are various plants growing around the house.

real simple to make: -peel as many potatoes as you want. 2 is sufficient per person -shred potatoes -fry potato shreds, light veggie oil as needed, until done -eat, enjoy!

The turnips are ready, been ready. I harvested some the other day. We usually cook them in chili or soups and stews. I really LOVE turnip greens so basically grow them for that.
