Cleaning Out the Basement

More pics from our recent basement clean-up. Sadly, most of this stuff was truly trash; very little could be re-used because the water and mold damage was too great. We had to wear face masks and use the dreaded bleach to clean out the basement. We had to throw a great deal out. I learned a big lesson from this…either make sure our storage is really adequate or make use of, sell, or give away items we don’t need. As most of this stuff was mementos of Mercury Man’s family, I’m going to suggest to them to make use of it now.

The last pic is another item I actually was just about to buy! An old school watering can I can use for my balcony garden.
