Ok so I tried to drag summer out as long as possible. I actually wasn’t going to turn my garden until the first weekend in November, but we had snow of a sorts yesterday and when I picked my veggies some had ice on them. It is time.

Here are my last tomatoes, I picked these yesterday. Some are ripe but quite a few of them will have to ripen indoors. I planted 2 types, the little ones are fireballs and the big ones are beefsteak. The corn are the scraggly ears left from popcorn I planted in late August, and the lettuce is a boy choy type:

It’s still summer at my sink:

Pepper plant I uprooted and bought indoors a few weeks ago:

I’m still trying to grow things on the back porch, mint, basil, beans, and one is an uprooted eggplant from the garden:

One of my mints I bought in a few weeks ago, already spreading in the pot.
